Adult Swim Fans Bid Farewell to Family Guy After Final Airing

Adult Swim fans bid farewell to Family Guy after the show’s final airing. The show has had a long run of 15 seasons on the network, but it was not renewed for season 16.

The tbs family guy is a long-running American animated television series created by Seth MacFarlane, and the last episode aired on TBS.

Fans of Adult Swim’s Family Guy are saying their goodbyes as the show’s last episodes broadcast! The cartoon series may have premiered on the Fox network in 1999, but it wasn’t until 2003 that syndicated episodes of the series began showing with the Adult Swim programming block that it really began to develop a devoted following. Although the network is now better recognized for its own cartoon content, it used to rely on syndicated blocks of programming, which featured fan favorites like Family Guy.

Adult Swim was instrumental in bringing Family Guy back to Fox with new episodes following its termination (as it has done for many other programs such as Futurama), and has had Family Guy as a key cornerstone of the network for many years, but it all comes to an end on Saturday, September 18th. Season 13’s “Stewie Is Enceinte,” the network’s last episode, signals the end of an era as Family Guy’s complete syndicated library transfers to FXX and Freeform.

Family Guy episodes spanning seasons 1-19 will broadcast on FXX Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings from 8 p.m. to midnight ET, and Wednesday nights from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET, starting on Monday, September 20th. The episodes will broadcast on Freeform on Fridays from 4pm to 10pm ET. The sitcom is also available on Hulu, but fans can’t help but feel a pang of disappointment.

Strange Times

#FamilyGuy’s massive Adult Swim run ends today, which is crazy since that’s how I began watching the program in the first place. What an odd moment to be alive.

An Era Has Come to an End

Reminder, Reruns of Family Guy will be shown on Adult Swim for the last time tomorrow night. Fxx, Freeform, and Hulu will be the only places to watch FG after then.

But what a fitting conclusion to an era. pic.twitter.com/qpU2rkhKiH

“There Wasn’t a Bang, But a Whimper”

The episode in which Stewie becomes pregnant with Brian’s children will be the last Family Guy episode to broadcast on Adult Swim. Tomorrow, before Toonami, at 11 p.m. EST.

What Would Be the Difference?

An era has come to an end. After Family Guy was canceled, Adult Swim aired reruns of the program, which was how many people found it and contributed to its resurrection. If it hadn’t occurred, the whole television landscape would be drastically different https://t.co/tDfxk6Y9Tj

“I’m hoping we’ll be able to see each other again.”

Tonight is the last episode of Family Guy on Adult Swim, and all I can say is that I’m going to miss you, Family Guy. Despite your flaws, you were still one of my favorite comedy programs of all time, and maybe we’ll see each other on TV again soon. pic.twitter.com/zHMhOkj2Oy
