In this game, players will face off against “El Presidente” Antón Castillo, who is played by Giancarlo Esposito (The Mandalorian, Breaking Bad). This fascist tyrant has complete control over the island of Yara and is attempting to elevate his son Diego (Anthony Gonzalez) to succeed him.

Players in Far Cry 6 take control of Dani Rojas, a native Yaran guerilla fighter battling for independence and seeking to restore his country to its former grandeur. This game is “political,” according to the production team, and serves as “a narrative about what a contemporary revolution must be.”
On October 7, 2021, the game will be released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna.
